Kara Smith

Q1: What role will you play at L3?

[KS]: I am a Franchise Sales Representative.

Q2: What made Location3 an interesting opportunity for you?

[KS]: I have always been on the purchasing side of marketing where I built plans and worked with our in-house marketing team or hired an outside agency for execution.  I am excited to be on the other side of the “table” and help franchisees realize the benefits of a proper marketing mix. 

Q3: What skills are you excited to apply in your new position? 

[KS]: I enjoy helping people understand the challenge in front of them and how to create a plan of action to conquer the challenge. Working as a Franchise Sales Representative I can help franchisees understand the importance of digital marketing while taking away the stress of how to implement this into their growth plan.

Q4: In what ways do you hope to grow?

[KS]:  I have learned so much from my team and hope to continue learning how to implement and provide growth opportunities/strategies for our clients and franchisees. 

Q5: What is a quote/motto you live by?

[KS]: The motto I live by is to always treat all people with respect. 

Q6: What is one thing on your bucket list?

[KS]: I would love to do another ziplining adventure in Hawaii.

Q7: What is your theme song?

[KS]: My theme song is “Conqueror,” by Empire Cast. 

 

Mark Grattan

Q1: What role will you play at Location3?

[MG]: I am an Associate Account Manager and will be managing and assisting on local social and search accounts.

Q2: What made Location3 an interesting opportunity for you?

[MG]:  I have always wanted to work at an agency doing digital advertising. This is an awesome opportunity for me to expand my marketing skills across industries and become an agile marketer with the ability to transfer my skills beyond what I have been marketing for my career. Location3 presented me with an opportunity to learn more in depth digital marketing skills and apply them across multiple disciplines. Also, working remote is a huge benefit for me, and the fact the Location3 is in Denver and I live just an hour away makes it even better. 

Q3: What skills are you excited to apply in your new position? 

My social marketing and digital marketing skills are what I am most excited to apply. I am also really enjoying the opportunity and challenge of presenting to clients regularly.   

Q4: In what ways do you hope to grow? 

 I hope to grow my social and search marketing skills. This will help compliment my overall marketing knowledge and skills I have developed over my career. 

Q5: What is a quote/motto you live by? 

 “I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me.” – When there is no more fear, there is only me.” – Frank Herbert 

Q6: What is one thing on your bucket list?

 I plan to visit as many countries as I can before it is all over.

There are too many to list. Let us go with “Immigrant Song,” Led Zeppelin.

 

Amy Arnold

Q1: What role will you play at Location3? 

[AA]: I am a Local Franchise Sales rep on Tom Lynch’s team.  I call on local franchise owners to promote LOCALACT – our premier local digital marketing platform.

Q2: What made Location an interesting opportunity for you?

[AA]: I wanted to work within the Denver area in online advertising.

Q3: What skills are you excited to apply in your new position?

[AA]:  I am a local PPC (Pay Per Click) ad sales specialist. 

Q4: In what ways do you hope to grow?

[AA]: I hope to become more knowledgeable about all the products L3 sells to our franchisees.

Q5: What is a quote/motto you live by?

[AA]: The motto I live by says, “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”

Q6: What is one thing on your bucket list? 

[AA]: I would love a vacation to Paris with my sister.

Q7: What is your theme song?

[AA]: My theme song is “Bluebird,” by Miranda Lambert.
