Google CEO Sundar Pichai made headlines earlier today with his announcement that Google is pledging more than $800 million to help support small- and medium-sized businesses, health organizations and governments, and health workers currently combatting the growing COVID-19 pandemic.

Google’s commitment includes $250 million in advertising grants to the World Health Organization and other governmental agencies to help further spread key information about how to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

In addition, Google has set aside $340 million for Google Ads credits that will be made available to small- and medium-sized businesses, to help support them through the current economic downturn that has coincided with the global pandemic.

For complete details, you can read Pichai’s statement in full. Google has also put together a list of FAQ’s specifically regarding the Google Ads Credits program, so click below for more information.

We applaud Google’s pledge, and we’re continuing to work with our Google Partner team on next steps. We will update this post with additional information as it becomes available.
