May 2022 Broad Core Algorithm Update 

Google announced last week that it would be releasing a broad core algorithm update for Google Search. The update launched on Wednesday but will be rolling out over the next couple of weeks. These updates are designed to improve search results for users. Site performance in search results rankings may be affected. If you’re noticing a downward slide, it’s important to note: your site is being reassessed against other web content that has been published since the last update. As Matt Southern notes in his article for Search Engine Journal, focusing on your content strategy is the best plan for dealing with any negative impacts associated with an algorithm update.
